In an effort to protect public health, the New River Health District’s Food Sanitation Program provides foodservice inspections of restaurants, caterers, school cafeterias, daycares, and festival and fair food vendors.
Any inspection report is a “snap-shot” of the day and time of the inspection. On any given day, a restaurant could have fewer or more violations than noted in the report. An inspection conducted on any given day may not be representative of the overall, long-term cleanliness of an establishment.
Violations are usually classified as either critical, posing a direct or immediate threat to the safety of the food being served, or non-critical, representing a failure of cleaning or maintenance.
Only critical violations are listed here.
