Christiansburg Parks and Recreation is teaming up with the Christiansburg Kiwanis Club to host the biggest Easter Egg Hunt the town has ever seen, featuring more than 10,000 eggs!
The hunt, which will be held on April 15 at Kiwanis Park, is free to the public. Photos with the Easter Bunny will cost $1.
In addition to golden eggs in the age groups of 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12, there will be two mystery eggs in each group. One lucky participant will walk away with a Nintendo Wii donated by the Christiansburg Walmart.
If planning on attending, make sure to arrive at the right time for your child’s age group. Children ages 3-5 will begin their search for eggs at 10 a.m., children ages 6-8 will begin at 10:15 a.m., children ages 9-12 will begin at 10:30 a.m. and children 3 and under will begin at 10:45 a.m.
In the event of inclement weather, the Easter Egg Hunt will be held inside the Christiansburg Recreation Center. Please call after 8 a.m. on the day of the event to see if the hunt has been moved.
