Humane Society waives adoption fees for first responders
The Humane Society of Montgomery County recognize that our law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, and EMT’s play a vital role in protecting and serving our community. As a way of saying “thank you”, we will waive the adoption fees for any animal these folks adopt.
We hope this in some small way shows how thankful HSMC is to these many wonderful public servants. To ensure that our animals find the perfect home, all other standard adoption procedures will apply.
HSMC is funded through donations and fundraisers and received no government money. The no-kill shelter for dogs and cats is located at 1183 Flanagan Drive in Christiansburg. For more information, please call 382-1166.
