CHRISTIANSBURG–Public Works crews will be performing asphalt maintenance this week throughout town.
On Wednesday, a crew will be making road base and asphalt repairs on Cambria Street, across from Sherwin-Williams. Work is expected to begin at 8 a.m. and finish by 4 p.m. There will be shoulder closures and short-term flagging operations.
On Thursday, a crew will be making two asphalt repairs on Depot Street between North Drive and Wing Street. The repairs are expected to begin at 8 a.m. and be complete by 4 p.m. While there will not be lane closures, flagging operations will be in place.
Lastly, on Friday, a crew will be making pothole repairs on North Franklin Street, near Water Street, in the northbound lanes. The repairs are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and be complete by 2:30 p.m. Lane closures will include the left northbound lane between 129 and 255 North Franklin St. and the left-hand left turn lane from Depot Street onto North Franklin Street. Flagging operations will be in place.
