Everett Harold Graves, Jr., 70, of Gary, West Virginia, formerly of Radford, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 7, 2017 with his family by his side.
He was a decorated disabled U. S. Army combat veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Irene Graves; brother, Harry Brown; and sister, Charlotte Hilton.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Linda F. Graves of Gary, W.Va.; daughters, Anita G. Orren and her partner Sherry Salyer of Rich Creek, Susann G. Lambert and her husband Fred, of Thomasville, N.C., and Tina R. Young and her husband David of Radford, Va.; grandchildren, Ryan, Bradley, Katie, Nora and Connor; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. Roger Graves of Roanoke, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Fairlawn Church of God.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Dr. Roger Graves and Rev. Kenneth Flowers officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairlawn Church of God.
The Graves family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
