Tournament champion Blacksburg dominated the Conference 32 girls’ soccer team announced Wednesday. Blacksburg placed six on the first team and another four on the second team. Bruin Coach Travis Eschenmann was named coach of the year.
Cross-county rival Christiansburg had two on the first team and four named to the second team.
Named to the first team for Blacksburg were: Hannah Elias, Sarah Linkenhoker, Ashlen Burch, Skyler Prosser, Kyia Williams and Meghan Shelton. Christiansburg’s first teamers included: Abby Duff and Morgan Mullens.
Blacksburg’s second teamers were: Leah Beyer, Blake Carroll, Georgia Halkidis and Akaela Feng. For Christiansburg, second teamers were: Michaela Weber, Addie Blanie, Haley Bragg and Grace Martin.
On the boys’ side, Blacksburg also placed 10 to the all-conference team with Senior Salom Harris named player of the year.
Blacksburg first teamers included: Harris, Jordan Burch, Sam Dickinson, Austin Bissell, Joe Carmen and Daniel Salom. Second teamers were: Ryan Santa Maria, Kamryn Roberts, Bailey Prosser and Seth Pace.
Christiansburg had two players named to the first team in Ian Blanton and Ian Wnorowski, and three to the second team, Austin Brown, Landon Bell and Casey Hepburn.
