The Town of Christiansburg’s 19th annual Fourth of July Celebration is an all-day event, featuring a downtown festival from 10 a.m. t0 4 p.m. and a spectacular fireworks show at Christiansburg High School to close out the night.
The fun begins on Tuesday, July 4, at 10 a.m. on Main Street, where you’ll find vendors, local bands, a kids’ area, Touch a Truck, your favorite Christiansburg Farmers’ Market regulars and much more!
The music lineup for the festival is as follows:
10:30 a.m. – Fritz Schindler
11:45 a.m. – Half Throttle
1 p.m. – Aside Oceans
2:15 p.m. – Raw Talent
That evening, Christiansburg High School’s football stadium will open at 8:30 p.m., with fireworks starting around 9:15 p.m. Pets are not allowed in the stadium. If lightning is in the area, the stadium will be evacuated and spectators will be asked to watch the fireworks from their car or another safe location. The rain date for fireworks is Wednesday, July 5, at 9:15 p.m.
