Robert Lloyd Kelsey, born March 4, 1932, and Patricia Joan Kelsey, born April 17, 1935, of Blacksburg, Virginia, passed away June 28 and July 1, 2017, respectively.
Bob and Pat were formerly of Stanton, California, and Michigan and were married 60 years. They are preceded in death by their parents, Lloyd and Ruth Kelsey, and John and Sophie Voskovich and sister, Dorothy Jacobson.
They are survived by their children, daughter, Pam and Bill Duke, grandchildren Ryan Duke and Lindsay Ross, great grandchildren Jordan, Paisley, and Kyler of Owasso, Oklahoma, daughter, Marion and Larry Brose, grandchildren Lexie and Christopher of Santa Ana, California, son, John and Deana Kelsey of Blacksburg, Virginia, and grandchildren Brian of Charleston, South Carolina and Adam of Columbus, Ohio, son Robert Kelsey and granddaughter, Madison of Henderson, Colorado. Bob is also survived by his brother, Donald Kelsey of Dayton, Ohio, and Pat is survived by cousin, Shirley Prescott, of Saint Claire Shores, Michigan
Bob served in the United States Army in Korea in 1949-1952. He earned four battle stars and was in the invasion of Inchon and Eiwon.
Visitation was on Sunday at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg, Virginia, immediately followed by funeral service at McCoy Chapel.
