For the fourth consecutive year, the Virginia Tech football program will serve as the hosts for Fan Appreciation Day, which will be held Sunday, Aug. 20, at Tech’s Indoor Practice Facility. This will mark the first time that the event has been held in the Indoor Practice Facility, which opened in 2015.
Fan Appreciation Day starts at 1:30 p.m. for Hokie Kids’ Club members and 1:45 p.m. for the general public. The event is free of charge and open to people of all ages. Parking is also free.
The event allows fans to get autographs from their favorite student-athletes and select coaches, and other entertainment is expected to be provided for young children. The event ends promptly at 3 p.m., with autograph lines closing at 2:45 p.m.
More details on the event will be released in early August.
The Hokies open the 2017 season on Sept. 3 against West Virginia at FedExField in Landover, Maryland, and they play their first game at Lane Stadium on Sept. 9 at 3:30 p.m.
