This year, the Town of Christiansburg is working to establish a universal and cohesive design standard for wayfinding and location signage that is reflective of the Town’s identity and establishes a sense of place, destination and community in Christiansburg.
To do this, the town has partnered with KMA Design for assistance in creating a new wayfinding program to help motorists and pedestrians navigate throughout town, to identify and highlight town parks, points of interests and public parking spaces and to inform and educate residents and visitors through information kiosks and potential digital signage.
But before the town of Christiansburg can move forward with the creation of a sign design and program, they want to hear from you. What comes to mind when you think of Christiansburg? What are we doing well – and not so well – when it comes to moving motorists and pedestrians throughout and around our town? What would you like to highlight and feature?
Please complete the short survey linked at surveymonkey.com/r/28KTWQX and share your thoughts. Your input will be reviewed by the KMA Design team, as well as a committee here at Town Hall, and we’ll work together to create a wayfinding program of which we can all be proud!
