Radford University will be the site for some outstanding summer sports camps this coming week and month.
Women’s soccer head coach Ben Sohrabi will host a clinic on July 30 for high school players at Cupp Stadium. The camps will focus on the technical and tactical aspects of the game.

The Radford women’s basketball program will be holding a one-day Elite Camp for ages 13-18 on Saturday, August 5 inside the Dedmon Center. The cost of the camp, which runs from 12-6 p.m., is $75 per player.
The camp is designed to provide a detailed experience about what it takes to compete and be successful at the NCAA Division I level.
Led by head coach Mike McGuire; participants will gain valuable knowledge regarding position work, competitive drills, agility work, recruiting, NCAA rules and 5-on-5 game play. All participants will work directly with the Highlanders’ coaching staff and players.
