The second place team consisted of Daniel Schroeder, Ken Keister, Andrew Crowder and Ben Fisher, who shot a 55. In April of this year, the foundation awarded four deserving students individual scholarships in the amount of $5,000. These scholarships were awarded on field by coach Foster just prior to the annual spring football game. This brings the total amount given away in scholarships by the Foundation to $87,500.00. In addition, earlier this year the foundation sent another $10,000 to the Organ Transplant Family Support program at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.The Lunch Pail Defense Foundation held its fourth annual golf tournament on June 23 at the Auburn Hills Golf Club in Riner. This year a record 33 teams competed from around the state. The first place team consisted of Matt Williams, Warren Mills, Makie Mines and Timmy Jones after shooting a 52.
