This year Subaru has created the Subaru Love Promise, a pledge to do right by the communities in which we all live and work. It is a promise to make a positive impact in the world by focusing on improving our neighborhoods and communities.
As a part of this initiative, Motor Mile Subaru is taking part in the Subaru Loves Learning Book Donation Event for the entire month of August. This is a program designed to donate outstanding, prize-winning books to schools with the goal of engaging young learners in the world of science and inspire them to want to learn more. These books are designed to supplement existing curriculum by supporting K-12 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, while also helping to build reading and literacy skills.
“Reading is so important for children”, said Stacey Cregger, Motor Mile Subaru Sales Manager. “We are glad to help donate books to local students.”
This year over 40,000 books will be donated through the Subaru Loves Learning program to schools across the country.
