Larry Alan Hylton, of Christiansburg, Virginia went to be in his heavenly home on Sunday. Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother Posey Hylton and Julie Hylton, and his sister, Brenda Hylton Compton. Left to cherish his memory was the love of his life, his wife Kim Hylton, his son Jason Alan Hylton, (Jessica), his special daughter Sarah Brockmeyer, (Ryan), and grandchildren.
Larry severed our country proudly durning the Vietnam war from 1966-1968. He later started Hylton Excavating, which he owned and operated for 28 years. Larry made many great friends throughout the years and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. McCoy and his staff along with John N. Dalton, Jr., for their compassion and care durning this difficult time.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Garland Linkous officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors at Memorial Gardens of the New River Valley, Blacksburg Virginia. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until service time at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
