Swift Start of the New River Valley is supporting this initiative to expand the availability of quality, licensed childcare in our region.
Are you interested in finding out about the toughest job you will ever love? Learn about the steps and requirements for opening a licensed home childcare business. Find out about the advantages of becoming a licensed and subsidy-eligible provider and participating in Virginia Quality training and mentoring. Child Care Aware and Virginia Quality will lead you through the process and answer any questions you may have.

The Alliance for Better Childcare Strategies, a nonprofit based in Christiansburg, VA, is committed to increasing availability of childcare, collaborating to build quality childcare and education, and creating opportunities so that all New River Valley children can access high-quality care and education from birth to age five.
