Under their parent’s supervision, babies and toddlers can play during this informal gathering. This program is for ages 0-4 and meets in the storytime room.
Wee Play, a Library Playgroup, Wednesdays
Every Wednesday after Storytime EXCEPT the first Wednesday of the month, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Christiansburg Library. Parents and caregivers are invited to socialize while supervising an informal play group for their babies and toddlers. Ages 0-4.
Club M.O.M. (Meeting Other Munchkins), Wednesdays
Every Wednesday after Storytime, 11:15 – 12:15 p.m., Jessie Peterman Library, Floyd. This play group will meet every Wednesday there is a Storytime planned. Relatives can relax and have a cup of tea while their children play with blocks and other toys.

Child Development Milestones from Birth to Five Years Old: Speech and Language Skills

This program is the third in a three-part series. Advance registration required. Thuja Jameson, MS CCC-SLP with Professional Therapies, Inc. will discuss speech and language milestones such as first words, 2-word combinations, asking questions, and being easily understood, as well as the early warning signs of hearing impairment and autism spectrum disorder.

Tapping, a combination of acupressure and modern psychology, works to physically alter your brain, energy system and body all at once. Certified Tapping/EFT Practitioner, Betty Powell, will demonstrate some wonderful ways you can use Tapping to help yourself in this hands-on workshop.
