Bonnie Hite McDaniel Price, 87, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017. She was a former owner and bookkeeper of Dick Price Ford and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Bonnie was born in Pulaski County on June 21, 1930, the daughter of the late Guy Hite and Zella Pauline Hedge Hite.
She was proud of the fact that she raised her sons, Bobby and Dee, with hard work, early morning paper routes, and picking up “pop bottles along the side of the road to turn in for the deposit money”. She loved working on the farm and raising calves, flower gardening and yard sales.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Pratt Price; her sons, Robert “Bobby” H. McDaniel and Donald “Dee” E. McDaniel; and her brother and sister, Murle B. Hite and India G. Hite. She is survived by her brothers, Darle Hite and his wife Mollie of Max Meadows, and Donald G. Hite and his wife Edna of Belleville, Il.; and many friends.
The family received friends on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Don Shelor officiating. Interment followed in West View Cemetery in Radford.
