Lenora Richardson Williams, 61, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 at her mother’s home in Radford. She was a member of Fairlawn United Methodist Church and was the Food Service Director of Radford City Schools. Born on July 8, 1956, she is preceded in death by her father in February 2015, Marshall Jesse Richardson;and her husband in March, Gerald Stanley “Jerry” Williams.
Survivors include her sons, David Lee (Corinne) Shelor, Jr. of Radford, Jason Matthew (Miranda) Williams of Radford, and Larry Douglas Williams of Johnson City, Tenn.; daughters, Libby (Matthew) Williams-Price, Ashley Scaggs and Anne Turpin, all of Radford; mother, Lenora Webb “Dot” Richardson of Radford; grandchildren, Jesse, Carter, Hannah, Jake and Kantyn; sister, Karen E. Richardson of Radford; brothers and sisters-in- law, Johnny (Wanda) Richardson of Rocky Mount and Marshall (Janie) Richardson, Jr. of Whispering Pines, N.C.; and loving canine companion, “Scamp”.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m. today Nov. 1, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. with Rev. Joe Mack Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Radford City Police Dept. K-9 Unit, 20 Robertson St., Radford, VA 24141 in honor of Major Gerald and Lenora Williams.
