Bobby Edwin Fuller, age 82, of Christiansburg, VA died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017. He is preceded in death by Becky Comer Fuller, wife; George Edwin Fuller, father, and Flossie Fuller, mother, and by his second mother, Margaret Fuller; Betty and Henry Jackson, sister and brother-in-law; and great granddaughter, Maryn Lyn McCoy.
Surviving are his wife, Judy LaPrade Fuller; daughters and sons-in-law: Edwina and Pat Lamm; Robin and Dale McCoy; Karen and Jeff Bolling; sisters-in-laws and brother-in-law: Vicki LaPrade, Bob Comer, Veda Ellisor, Pat Matheson, June Morton; grandchildren: Shannon Lamm Maynard and husband, Russell; Kelly Lamm Piselli and husband, Aaron; Luke McCoy and wife, Dawn Bradbury; Corey McCoy and wife, Alicia; Morgan McCoy Coartney and husband, Nathan; Emma Bolling, Ruby Bolling and Charlie Bolling; great-grandchildren: Caleb Maynard and Tommy McCoy; Special Aunt Lottie Carroll; great nieces: Emilie and Brianna Bradbury.
Born in Leasksville, NC, Bobby was a graduate of Atlanta Christian College and Kentucky Christian College. He ministered at several Christian Churches in Virginia and North Carolina. While serving in McCoy, along with the area churches, Bobby was instrumental in establishing Blue Ridge Christian Camp. He was also a life-member of Longshop McCoy Fire and Rescue.
The family extends a special thanks to Warm Hearth Home Care, especially Mark and Belinda; and Good Samaritan Hospice.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017 at 1 pm in the Community Christian Church, McCoy with Mr. Porter Riner, Mr. David Williams, and Mr. David Rhudy officiating. Burial will follow in McCoy Family Cemetery, McCoy. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 pm tonight, Wednesday, at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
