Christiansburg High School took boys and girls indoor regional honors Friday at Liberty University. Kaylyn Cromer won two events, while Ethan Mills claimed two on the boys’ side of the track.
Cromer was tops in the 55-meter hurdles and triple jump with a mark of 34-4. Kendall Lewis also won the long jump (15-10) for the Lady Blue Demons with Cassidy Cromer taking the pole vault. Julia Moschella also won the 500-meter event.
The ladies also won the 800-meter and 3,200-meter relays.
As a team, the Blue Demons tallied 198 points to second place Lord Botetourt’s 68. Hidden Valley was third with 45 points.
Mills won the 1,000-meters and 1,600. As a team, Christiansburg would hold off second place Cave Spring 115-111 for the win. Lord Botetourt was third with 58 points.
In 1C action, the Auburn boys team brought home another regional win while the girls finished second.
