Curtis DeLeon Williamson, 68, of Pulaski, Va., passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018. He was a veteran of both the U. S. Army and the U. S. Air Force. Born on Feb. 20, 1949, he was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Thomas Williamson and Margaret Elizabeth Watkins Williamson; and brother, Marion Williamson.
Survivors include the love of his life, Rosie French Williamson of Pulaski, Va.; sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis DéLeon Williamson II of Bluefield, W. Va. and his children, Cai`dyn, Honestee and Kace, and Curtis DéJustus Williamson French and his wife Kearston of Bluefield, Va. and children, Rashaun and Lily; daughters, Cassandra “Dee” Brown of Iberia, La., Constance Denise “Connie” Brown of Albany, N.Y. and daughter, Liyiana, and Julia Christina Williamson of Roanoke, Va. and children, Jorlan and Teagan; brothers and sisters, Barbara Williamson of Bluefield, Va., Paul (Beverly) Williamson of San Antonio, Texas, Clarence Williamson of Bluefield, Va., Louise (Larry) Graves of Summerville, S.C., Lawrence (Marie) Williamson of Bluefield, Va., Celestine “Tina” Williamson of Bluefield, Va., William (Anna) Williamson of San Bernardino, Calif., Wayne (Paula) Williamson of Silver Springs, Md., Shareitta (Richard) Bell of Roanoke, Va. and Jackie Williamson of Roanoke, Va.; 27 nieces and nephews; 37 great nieces and nephews; 7 great great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. today, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Fairlawn Church of God. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Marcus Harrison and Rev. Michael Bratton officiating.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
The Williamson family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
