Peggy Bircham Parks, 85, of Dublin, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2018. Born on Oct. 26, 1932, she was a longtime member of Dublin United Methodist Church and the office manager for local surgeon, Dr. George Tarasidis, for almost 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harold Elmer Parks; her parents, Harry and Grace Bircham; brother, Jimmy Bircham; and sister, Geneva Shupe.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Terry McCoy of Ironto, and Debbie and Cliff Farlow of Fairlawn; grandchildren, Travis and wife Tammy McCoy, Tracy and husband Andy Johnson, Leanne Farlow and Bill Farlow; great grandchildren, Gavin Reno, Carmen and Sarah McCoy, and Jack and Drew Johnson; several nephews, nieces, lifelong friends and her Dublin UM Church family.
Peggy and Harold loved sports. They played softball and were avid bowlers. Peggy also loved to sew, cross-stitch, paint, shop, travel and most of all be with her family.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Dublin United Methodist Church. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. with Rev. Don Hanshew officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin.
