The March General Body Meeting of the Montgomery County-Radford City-Floyd County Branch of the NAACP will be held on Sunday, March 25 at 3:30 p.m. at The Old Hill School Community Center (formerly known as the Christiansburg Community Center), 570 N. High Street in Christiansburg.
The CREDO, the Civil Rights Educational Developmental Opportunities,
presentation will be Shannon Hammons, Director of Development and Marketing with New River Valley Agency on Aging.
March’s CREDO will provide an overview of the services offered and how to access those services Mr. Hammons said, including home-delivered meals programs, transportation available to seniors who are no longer driving, insurance, and healthy self-management of chronic disease.
These are important issues for adults of all ages said the NRV agency and, as always, all are welcome.
