Helen Pabis Collier, 82, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at her home in Dublin with her family by her side. Born on Feb. 28, 1936, she was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Anna Pabis; and grandson, Daniel Merrick.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Orbin Preston Collier of Dublin; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Daniel Buckland of Christiansburg, Cheryl Barham of Dublin, and Anna and Tom Merrick of Camdon, N.Y.; son and daughter-in-law, Gary Clayton and Terry Collier of Dublin; grandchildren, Shane Orange, Helena Barham, and Alisha Travis-Daughterty; brother, Edward Pabis; sisters, Mary Moehnke and Diane Weidrick; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held on April 16, 2018 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Intrepid Hospice, 101 W. Main St., Radford, VA 24141.
The Collier family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
