Owners of a Radford car dealership have announced the sale of its Floyd location, but assure customers the original location in Radford will remain open.
George Harvey Jr. and his brother, Brad, had owned the Harvey Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership in Floyd for approximately 10 years.
“It was a great experience and we made lifelong friends with both customers and employees in Floyd and have no regrets in our original decision to purchase the store. However, business at the Harvey Chevrolet Cadillac Buick store has increased dramatically over the past two years and likewise the management requirements have as well,” Harvey said.
Recently the Floyd dealership was sold to the Johnson family group of dealerships in Hillsville.
Harvey Chevrolet has been in business since 1959.
“We look forward to serving our customers in the New River Valley for many years to come,” Harvey said.
