Montgomery County Extension is hosting the annual Extension fair August 11-12 at the Alphin-Stuart Arena on Plantation Rd. at Virginia Tech.
The fair will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will feature exhibits, a livestock show, a chicken and rabbit parade, fair games, hands-on educational activities, demonstrations, and many other fun activities for kids and their families.
The fair will conclude with a horse show on Sunday. Families are invited to come out for the many festivities planned for the day.
Many of the fair competitions are open to youth, 4-H and non-4-H members alike. Youth must be a 4-H or FFA club member to participate in the livestock show, but most of the other events are open to any youth.
The fair has something for everyone, so come out and enjoy the fun!
