Winona Rose Whitson Strange, born on Sept. 21, 1929, was wife of Philip, mother of Dianna, Steven, and Julianne, and grandmother of Olivia, great grandmother of Grayson, passed away on July 29, 2018 under hospice care in Blacksburg, Virginia.
We will greatly miss her every day, as will friends and surviving Whitson and Strange relatives. To quote one of her Sons-in-law, ” She was one of the most effervescent, lovable people I ever met.” Per Nona’s request, there will be no services.
