Reginald “Reggie” Harman Nofsinger, 78, of Fairlawn, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Born on July 8, 1940, he retired from the Radford Army Ammunitions Plant where he had over 40 years of service, and was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand Harman and Emma Hodges Nofsinger; his wife, Lola Yvonne Bane Nofsinger; and sister, Evelyn Nicholson.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Gwynne and Mark Witt of Willis; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Melinda Nofsinger of Sevierville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Ricky, Skylar and Shy Nofsinger; great grandchildren, Jacob, Josh and Justin; and many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank his caregivers Lisa, Gracie, Bonnie and Barbara for all their love and kindness and a special thank you to the Faith Riders for their help and special dedication for all that they did for Mama and Daddy during their sickness.
The family received friends from on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services were held with Rev. Danny Collins and Rev. Jan N. Angle officiating. Interment followed in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Fairlawn Baptist Church, 6758 Oxford Ave., Fairlawn, VA 24141.
