Clarence Ferrell, 81, of Fairlawn passed away, Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, at his home. He was born in Danville, VA on March 30, 1937 to the late Ruth Watson, also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. He was a longtime Marshall at the Virginia Tech Gold Course and was retired from Old Colony Box Company.
He is survived by his stepchildren, Shern Smith, Leon Cox, Michael Cox; sisters-in-law, Eulalia Mills, Shirley (Richard) Akers; grandchildren, John, Justina, Robert, Zaria, Alana, Jada; great-grandchildren, Tyiaunna, Aydenn, Kamyrriah, Nariah, Robert, Jr.; longtime friends, Robert Leonard and E.A. Bishop.
Funeral services were conducted on Sept. 11, 2018 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Anthony Tucker officiating. The family received friends at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
