Machiko Oshima Turner was born in Tokyo and lived in multiple areas of Japan before coming to America. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kyushu Sangyo University, studying art design and textile dyeing, she is currently a full time artist.

Come enjoy the work of printmaker David Hall and painter / sculptor Sienna Bearden for the month of November. Hall is displaying modern block prints, which he describes as a “guide to a place or feeling but not the end destination.” Bearden enjoys testing her art skills to see if she can create what is in her mind. Her wildly imaginative art is at times funny or horrifying, but she always enjoys the process.

Just pick up an art card at the front desk, visit Miss Jessie’s Gallery, answer a few questions, then return your signed card to the front desk for a bookmark.
