Arnold Marshall Linkous, 76, of Christiansburg, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at his home. He was born in Blacksburg, VA on Dec. 19, 1941 to the late George Lee and Sadie Link Linkous. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Geraldine Carter, and a nephew, Wayne Browing.
He was a member of Christian Fellowship Tabernacle. Arnold was retired from Hubbell Lighting. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edith Christine Linkous; daughters, Marsha Arleen Linkous, Marla Christine Fonseca and husband, Rene, Jr.; sons, Mark Arnold Linkous, Phillip Christopher Linkous and wife, Deby, Casey Scott Linkous; grandchildren, Wesley, Craig, Matthew, Brady, Kayla, Benjamin, Jacob; six great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Ward, Joyce and Vinnie Blevins, Linda Fain, Lois and Leslie Jarels; brothers and sisters-in-law, David (Dan) and Carol Linkous, Tim and Karen Linkous; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA.
