Sue B. Warden has been selected as the 2018 Woman of The Year for Alpha Mu Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
“To be chosen as Woman of The Year is one of the greatest honors a chapter can pay to a member,” Carolyn Sowers, sorority member, wrote in a club announcement, “and Warden exemplifies the characteristics that are known to Beta Sigma Phis the world over.”
Warden participated in all sorority activities and has used her talents for the good of the organization as well as her community.
She is always willing to lend a helping hand and she stepped forward to kindly assist in numerous ways for the Chapter ‘s success this year.
Warden pledged into Beta Sigma Phi in 1980, has 23 years perfect attendance at Chapter meetings, has served numerous times in most all offices and has served on all committees.
She has been recognized previously with Woman of The Year, Valentine Queen and has received the prestigious Beta Sigma Phi Award of Distinction.
Warden is retired from the Virginia State Police, Communications Center and lives in Christiansburg with her husband, Roger.
