Christiansburg, VA – Mountain View Humane is offering discounted spay/neuter surgeries for pitbulls and pitbull mixes along with free rabies vaccinations and microchips!
World Spay Day takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 26, to promote the sterilization of pets as a way to save animals’ lives. In partnership with the Tulip Fund, for only $20, pitbull and pitbull mix owners may have their dog spayed or neutered, rabies vaccinated and microchipped. Space is limited to only 10 females and 10 males so scheduling early is highly recommended.
Started in 1995 by the Doris Day League, World Spay Day is promoted throughout the month of February as Spay/Neuter Awareness Month by veterinary clinics and animal shelters throughout the world to educate the public that spay and neuter is the most effective and humane way of decreasing the number of homeless pets that are euthanized.
Preventing litters reduces the number of homeless pets, and nonprofits like Mountain View Humane provide already affordable, high-quality spay/neuter surgeries and preventative care services for individuals through the New River Valley and surrounding areas.
Not surprisingly, pitbulls and pitbull mixes are one of the top dog breeds surrendered to animal shelters throughout the United States. On World Spay Day, Feb. 26th, we want to do even more by offering $20 World Spay Day package to include spay or neuter surgery (with the help of the Tulip Fund) and Rabies Vaccination & Microchip for twenty pitbull or pitbull mixes.
This World Spay Day package is for only individually owned dogs, not shelters or kennels.
To schedule your Pitbull or Pitbull mix for this special World Spay Day package, contact Mountain View Humane at (540) 382-0222 as soon as possible.
