At Tuesday’s Montgomery County Board of Supervisor meeting, board members Mark Cherbaka of District G and Marti Graham of District E announced their intentions to seek another term in their elected positions.
“I do intend to seek a second term for my seat for District G,” Cherbaka said. “I am very fortunate to do be doing something that is actually rewarding. I feel I have a little camaraderie with teachers and staff. I do make sacrifices because it is so rewarding. It is an honor to this job. As long as I am able and effective, and my constituents want me to, I will be here for another four years. I am excited to be working with this board.”
“After much thought…actually, no though at all,” Graham said, “I plan to run for another four year term. Being on the school board has been the best job I have ever had. I absolutely love advocating for our students. I love being in the schools. I love seeing what we are doing for our schools. It is an awesome place to support.”
Montgomery County School Board elections will be held on Nov. 5, 2019.
