The forty-year-old mysterious disappearance and presumed murder of Radford University student, Gina Hall, was revisited with the publication of “Under The Trestle” by Ron Peterson, Jr. earlier this year. Peterson has presented a number of book signings at local libraries and a question and answer panel will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 29 at the Radford High School auditorium.
The panel discussion will feature author Peterson presenting new research on the case and Radford Police Lieutenant Andy Wilburn will discuss the ongoing search for Gina Hall’s remains.
Former Pulaski County Commonwealth’s Attorney Everett Shockley will speak about the landmark 1980 murder trial which resulted in Virginia’s first “No Body” murder conviction. Former state police officer, Austin Hall, the lead investigator on the case will also be on hand to share insight and answer questions.
Another Barnes & Noble event promoting “Under The Trestle” will be held Sunday, March 31 at 1 p.m. at the Christiansburg Barnes & Noble. Author Ron Peterson Jr. Prosecutor Everett Shockley & State Police Lead Investigator Austin Hall will be on hand to sign books.
