Edward Eugene Fisher, Jr., 72, passed away at his home in Dublin on Thursday, May 30, 2019 with his family by his side. Born October 10, 1946, he was a member of Heritage Church and retired from the Pulaski County Water Plant with 47 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward, Sr. and Virginia Fisher; son-in-law, John Cheatham; brothers, Jimmy Fisher and Mike Fisher; and sister, Jackie Lemaster.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Long Fisher; daughter, Kimberly Dawn Cheatham of Pulaski; sons and spouse, Darren Keith and Michael Taylor of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Edward Lee Fisher of Dublin; grandchildren, Brandon Fisher, Bethney Fisher Locklear, Tamara Nicole Price, Victoria Dawn Cheatham and Dakota Michael Cheatham; great grandchildren, Summer, Faith, Skylar, Kassidy, Brailey, Haylen, Adalyn, Ashdon and Brooklyn Renee; sister, Mary Fisher Price of Radford; brothers and significant other, Joseph Paul Fisher of Radford and Dean Fisher and Matt of N.C.; and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Heritage Church in Dublin with Rev. Mike Pierce officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you bring a side for a pot luck get together which will be held in remembrance for Ed’s life after the memorial service at Heritage Church.
The Fisher family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
