Lewis Jackson Hopkins, 88, of Radford, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019. He was retired from the Radford Army Ammunitions Plant where he was a sheet metalist. Born on January 2, 1931, he was a U. S. Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and a member of Unity Christian Church.
He is survived by his sons, Michael and Jeffrey Hopkins of Radford; and his sister, Ruth Crawford of Maine.
The family received friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services began at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wendy Wilson officiating. Interment followed in Sunrise Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Unity Christian Church.
