Neil Turner, Montgomery County’s emergency service director, chimed a symbolic bell remembering the 18th anniversary of 9/11 during a special ceremony Wednesday at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. First responders were treated to a free breakfast, the CHS ROTC unit presented the flag and the high school choir sang the national anthem.
