It’s no secret that businesses have generated some negative headlines in recent years for opening on Thanksgiving Day. Some stores stay open all day, while others open their doors at night. Black Friday turns into Black Thursday and Friday.
And according to a survey conducted by BestBlackFriday.com, 72% of consumers think stores should be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
This year, many stores already have announced they are staying closed on Thanksgiving Day (11/28/2019), bucking the trend that we’ve seen the last few years.
