A number of local students made the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at James Madison University. Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.
The following students from Blacksburg made the dean’s list: Aviana Terschueren, Davison Mesmer, Julie Walsh, Ruth Abbott, Kate Osborne, Annie Combs, Ryan Santa Maria and Alexander Dunn.
The following students from Christiansburg made the dean’s list: Tyler Gandee Reese Altizer, Ashlyn Ahner, Abby Caudle, Katelyn Altizer, Adam Williams, Alexis Lawson, Jasmine Kitts, Michael Showalter and Elizabeth Humphreys.

A number of local students made the president’s list for the spring 2020 semester at James Madison University. Students who earn president’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above.
Earning president’s list honors were Samuel Coulson and Natalie Parrish from Radford, Kayleigh Bishop from Riner, Megan Woods from Pilot, Abigail Lester and Sara Jones from Christiansburg and Vivian Lawrence, Molly Helton, Sarah Parsons and Rachel Hosig, all from Blacksburg.

A pair of local students have been named to the dean'[s list for the spring semester at Pensacola Christian College.
Students named to the dean’s list earned a semester grade point average of 3.00 or higher.
Receiving the academic honor were Daniel McManus of Radford and Bri Wright of Blacksburg.
Pensacola Christian College is a liberal arts college enrolling students from every state in the U.S. and from around the world. The College has an enrollment of nearly 4,000 students (undergraduate, graduate and seminary) and offers a variety of programs of study.
