Charles Tazewell Saul, 70, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020, at his home in New River.
He was retired from the maintenance department of Carilion Hospital after 35 years of service and was a U. S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles William and Evelyn Viers Saul; a brother, Eddie Saul; and a sister, Marie Dobbins.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Saul of New River; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Dustin Pelkey of Swansboro, N. C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Angie Robins of Christiansburg; grandchildren Evan and Avery Robins; sisters and brothers-in-law Shelvia King of Virginia Beach, Clara Neishell of New River, Bonnie and Jerry Thornton of Dublin and Sherry and Otey Mitchell of New River; and numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
The family requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
