Thomas William (Tom) Smith, 67, of Christiansburg died, Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, at his home. He was born in Blacksburg on July 16, 195, to the late Walter Kyle and Hattie McDaniel Smith. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Huffman, and two brothers, Andy Smith and C.F. (Monk) Smith. He retired from Federal Mogul in 2018 after 46 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina Albert; a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Amy Smith; grandchildren Eerin, McKyla, Justin, Kaleigh, Keira and Britani; his sisters, Rebecca (Peachie) Thomas, Myrtle DiCicco, Edith Kelly and Jane Jackson; his brothers, Jim (Dick) Smith, Roger (Bill) Smith, Robert (Bob) Smith and Carlis (Buster) Smith, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
