Bringing the Inside Out – Creating Outdoor Living Spaces
Since there are no signs of COVID-19 disappearing anytime soon, The VT Hahn Garden is beginning to work on a series of online events. The first event is being co-hosted by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences on Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 7 – 8 p.m. The Hahn Horticulture Garden is working with two distinguished VT alumni, Steve Grigg ’77, former Owner of Grigg Design and Mike Hildebrand ’74, Owner of James River Nurseries, to host a virtual event that will feature tips for creating outdoor living spaces and expanding usable living space into one’s backyard. Steve and Mike will share some of their favorite projects and Scott Douglas, the Director of the Hahn Horticulture Garden, will discuss areas in the Garden that illustrate design elements you could incorporate into your own landscape.
