Blacksburg’s annual fall cleanup of curbside collections of debris and brush begins Monday, Sept. 28.
The cleanup is provided to Town of Blacksburg recycling and refuse customers and is not intended for the collection of waste from major construction and/or demolition debris.
The cleanup schedule consists is divided into four quadrants. (See accompanying map.) The schedule for cleanup is as follows: Southwest Quadrant – week of Sept. 28; Southeast Quadrant – week of Oct. 5; Northeast Quadrant – week of Oct. 12; Northwest Quadrant – week of Oct.19.
To facilitate collection, the town has established parameters that customers are asked to observe.
