Blacksburg offices closed
The Town of Blacksburg’s administrative offices will be closed in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. The Community and Aquatic centers will be open regular hours. Blacksburg. Transit will be operating its normal schedule. Recycling and refuse pick up will not be affected.

Blood Drive
The New River Health District and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive at Blue Ridge Church, 1655 Roanoke St., Christiansburg, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. An appointment may be scheduled by calling 540-585-3328.

Radford Public Library’s Summer Reading Program
Through Saturday, July 31, the library will be running its yearly summer reading program for kids, teens, and adults. The program allows those who read daily to earn prizes and to earn entries to win raffle baskets. The program promotes literacy, encourage sreading as a healthy habit, and help readers experience reading as fun and adventurous.

Glencoe Mansion, Museum and Gallery exhibit “Mountain Rail Tails”
Glencoe Mansion, Museum and Gallery now has on display its newest art gallery exhibit, “Mountain Rail Tails,” featuring photography by Dale R. Carlson of Bluemoonistic Images.
The exhibit will be on display through August 29 and dovetails nicely with the train observatory platform and exhibit found at the edge of the grounds of Glencoe. Everyone is welcome to visit the museum, and there is no admission charge. Glencoe is located at 600 Unruh Dr. in Radford.

Blacksburg’s Market Square Jam 2021
Blacksburg’s Market Square Jam 2021 will continue each Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. through September at Market Square Park. This season marks the jam’s 10th anniversary.

Radford Farmers Market
The Radford Farmers Market will be held each Saturday through October 30 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the New River Valley Community Service parking lot (the Old Wade’s parking lot) on West Main Street
Christiansburg Farmers Market
The Christiansburg Farmers Market will be held every Thursday through at the Christiansburg Recreation Center parking lot from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
