Gary Neil Carter, Jr., 46, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021.
He was born in Montgomery County on Dec. 9, 1974.
He is survived by his mother, Shelby Myers; his father, Neil Carter; daughters Destiny Carter, Bella Carter, and Bailey Carter; sons Anthony Carter, Jeremy Carter, and Parker Carter; grandchildren Sammy Roman and Avi Roman; and a sister, Becky Honaker.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmie Lee Price officiating. Interment followed at North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
