The Montgomery County-Radford City-Floyd County Branch of NAACP #7092 will hold a
Branch Election for the 2023-2025 term. The purpose of the election is to fill all officer
positions including four members at large. All positions are open. The Branch Election is
November 18, 2022.
Branch Elections: Candidates must be a member of this Branch with a current paid membership
as of May 1, 2022, and have membership that remained continuous throughout the election
process to be eligible to run.
At the meeting on September 28, 2022, via zoom at 3:30 p.m., a Nominating committee was
elected by the general body.
At the meeting on October 23, 2022, via zoom at 3:30 pm the Report of the Nomination
Committee is received, receipt of Nominations by Petition, and election of the Election Supervisory Committee will take place. In order to sign a nominating petition, a member must
have continuous current membership as of May 1, 2022, and must live or work within the
Branch’s jurisdiction. To be elected to the Election Supervisory Committee, a member must be
current as of 30 days prior to the election. Membership will be verified by the branch Secretary.
On November 18, 2022 the Branch Election will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. by means of
Electronic Voting-Election Buddy. In order to vote in a Branch election, one must be a member
in good standing of the Branch 30 days prior to the election. Membership will be verified by the
branch Secretary.

Elections will be conducted by the national office via Election Buddy.
