A March 29 article in the News Messenger reported that the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors approved a special permit allowing a parcel of land in the Elliston Valley to be rezoned, from agricultural use to general business, in preparation of a ground installed solar array. The Board of Supervisors did not vote on the solar project at their March 27, 2023, meeting. They held a public hearing on the requested project.
