Christiansburg’s Mariah Reed won the Girls Middle School 2k race at the Blacksburg Relays with a time of 7:27.2 on Saturday morning.Blacksburg senior Allie McDonald hurdles a set of hay bales during her anchor leg for the Blacksburg 10k relay team. The Bruin girls “A” team would place second overall, while the Bruin boys “A” team would win their team competition.Eastern Montgomery’s Calvin Wilbon placed third in the Boys Middle School 2k in a time of 6:48.2 at the Blacksburg Relays on Saturday.
