Find out about a project to replace the Route 663
(Walton Road) bridge over Crab Creek in Montgomery
County. The bridge is located 2.7 miles north of Route
11 (Lee Highway). The existing bridge will be replaced
with a wider structure with shoulders. Traffic will need
to use local detour routes for approximately 12
months during construction.

If your concerns cannot be satisfied, VDOT is willing
to hold a public hearing. You may request that a
public hearing be held by sending a written request to
Tyler Teer, Virginia Department of Transportation, 731
Harrison Avenue, Salem, VA 24153 on or prior to
December 21, 2023. If a request for a public hearing
is received, notice of date, time and place of the
hearing will be posted.
